Overview
Wood is recruiting for a Project Manager – Offload Hose Reel Replacement to support our client site based in Aberdeen on a fixed-term staff contract. Hybrid working - 3 days working from Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
* Development of Project Execution Plan and associated resource model
* Development of an overall integrated project schedule, risk register and action tracker
* Interface with operations and shutdown focal points to ensure alignment and readiness to execute all planned activities
* Ensure project deliverables are subjected to adequate scrutiny
* Provide input to engineering project scope definition and execution
* Delivery of work within assigned budgets and identification of cost savings
* Management of third-party suppliers in the execution of topsides engineering project delivery
* Ensure topsides engineering project work scopes follow the relevant Dana management procedures
* Ensure effective interface with IVB regarding modification verification activities
* Adhere to and comply with relevant Dana procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement
* Identify business risks and provide input to the business risk register and cumulative risk process
* Familiarise with the client policies, including HSE, Risk Management and Major Hazards
* Familiarise with the One Dana Management System and its meaning for day-to-day work
* Familiarise with PEAR (People, Environment, Assets and Reputation) risks and responsibilities
* Report any incident, near miss, hazards and improvement suggestions
* Know their roles and responsibilities
* Actively participate in any job or HSEQ training or instruction by or on behalf of the client
* Use all provided means as intended and according to their purpose
Qualifications
* Engineering degree or equivalent
* Delivery of projects involving critical marine operations, such as CSV’s, Lift Vessels, heading control
* Awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments
* Proven track record in project delivery and third-party management
* Experience of asset operations either in an onshore or offshore role
* Experience of EPC work including at concept, FEED and detailed design
* Membership of / Chartership by a relevant industry body (e.g., APM, IMechE) is beneficial but not essential
