An established public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Policy Officer to join their team on a 3‑month rolling contract, with the assignment expected to run for 9-12 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a policy professional looking to contribute to high‑profile strategic work within a supportive team environment. The role offers hybrid working, with occasional on‑site presence required depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting and shaping policy documents
* Contributing to research, analysis, and evidence gathering
* Supporting land or spatial planning‑related assessments
* Assisting in commissioned work and stakeholder engagement
* Providing high‑quality written and analytical outputs to senior staff
Desired Experience
* Experience in policy development within the public sector
* Strong analytical and written communication skills
* Ability to manage a varied workload and work collaboratively
* (Experience with land supply, G&T, or similar areas is beneficial but not essential.)
Rate & Level
The role is scoped at Senior Officer level, with an estimated pay range of £45-£50ph
