Role Description
M.R.S. Communications is seeking a Radio Communications Engineer for a full-time role based in our Cardiff Head Office with field work throughout England & Wales. The Radio Communications Engineer will handle the installation, configuration, and maintenance of radio communication systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing equipment repairs, liaising with clients for system upgrades and troubleshooting, and providing technical support to meet customer service standards. The role also entails keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in radio communication technology to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining radio communication systems
* Strong diagnostic capabilities to identify and resolve technical issues
* Technical proficiency in repairing equipment and performing system upgrades
* Effective communication and client support skills for addressing customer needs
* Proficiency in understanding and adapting to technological advancements in radio communication
* Ability to work independently and manage early work arrangements
* Relevant certifications in radio communications or a related field are an advantage
* Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with security-related communication systems is a plus
