About the Role
Join our high-performing rebuild team at the Perth Repair Centre in Welshpool, where you'll carry out inspections, rebuilds, and testing on Caterpillar equipment, including 793F trucks and ancillary gear.
You'll work a 7/7 day-shift roster (6am-6pm, Wednesday to Tuesday), contributing to fast-paced rebuilds while mentoring maintainers and ensuring all work meets OEM standards.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited too:
* Diagnose and assess engine condition, identifying required parts
* Use precision tools and technical data to ensure quality
* Collaborate to meet rebuild deadlines
* Mentor team members and support continuous improvement
* Maintain safety, efficiency, and detailed reporting
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience on mobile machinery (Caterpillar ancillary gear and 793F trucks)
* Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanical Trade or equivalent
* Shut or breakdown experience
* High Risk Work Licence
* SAP system knowledge
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
