Hours: full time, 2 days and 2 sleep nights in a row, followed by 4-day break
About The Role
Blakelow Bank is a solo EBD home, providing a safe, caring and structured home environment for young people.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key part in running the home and meeting the needs of each young person.
Responsibilities
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and professionals
* Support care plans and help young people achieve their goals
* Lead by example and support junior colleagues on shift
* Promote a safe, clean, and happy home environment
* Encourage learning, development and independence in every child
* Keep records up to date with care and professionalism
Qualifications
* Minimum of 12 months experience in residential childcare
* A Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare, or an accepted equivalent
* A full UK driving licence
* A calm, resilient, compassionate approach to care
* Ability to work shift patterns including sleep-ins (rota given in advance, likely 2-on, 4-off)
* Must be able to work in the UK
