About Adult Social CarePoint
Adult Social CarePoint is the first point of contact for adult social care in Newcastle. This is an exciting time to join our team as we move towards new and innovative ways of working to provide the best outcomes for people.
Your Role
1. Providing an urgent response to people in crisis.
2. Completing strength-based Care Act assessments and Carers Assessments.
3. Providing advice and information, often in challenging situations.
4. Aiming to prevent the need for long-term support and promoting independence.
5. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
The role requires flexibility, quick adaptation, and sound judgment, often in emergency situations.
Qualifications and Registration
The applicant should have a relevant social work qualification, such as a degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent, and must have current Social Work England registration.
