Please be advised that the role is predominantly working remotely with occasional requirements to attend the Corby Office where the Global & Data Analytics Team are based and other sites for team meetings, training, conferences. Before applying for the role you must be comfortable with working predominantly remotely and with occasional travel to the Corby Office and other sites.

Overview:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the global data and analytics applications, as well as supporting other areas of the Global Data & Analytics Department.

Responsibilities:

* Resolve or escalate system support issues in line with policy and procedures.
* Ensure all business as usual tasks and processes are delivered in accordance with our policy and procedures.
* Provide end user feedback to help shape the training strategies for all financial system users.
* Assist with support and training documentation for the applications (Cognos Controller, Power BI, Tableau and more).
* Assist with the communication of updates and improvements to all financial users.
* Assist the team in ensuring the successful transition from design and development to go live is in accordance with policy and procedures.
* Assist the team in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
* Assist with report creation and developments within Power BI.
* Assist with data collection tasks and help develop ways to automate processes.

Desirable skills:

* Good understanding of IT terms and concepts is required.
* Experience of working with Microsoft products.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Pragmatic problem solver.
* Advanced Excel knowledge an advantage.
* Ability to work dynamically in both team and independent environments is necessary.
* Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the business.
* Ability to react quickly to a fast paced, rapidly changing business environment.
* Adaptable and a keen learner.
* Have a high degree of integrity.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:15pm

Entry requirements:

A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade. Acceptable qualifications include:

* Two A levels in one or more similar subject.*
* Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject.
* International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject.
* BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject.
* A work experience route (2-3 years) in a similar subject-related role.

*'Similar subject' relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with 'Digital and Technology Solutions'. Typically this would be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.

Please note: Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
