Health & Safety Partner – Dover
C£45,000/annum
Monday–Friday, 37.5 hrs
Our client, a major UK port operator, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Partner to play a key role in delivering a culture of “looking after everyone and everything.”
You will live locally to Dover, Kent and have no Right to Work visa restrictions.

The Health & Safety Partner Role
* Reporting to the Head of H&S, partner with operational leaders to improve safety performance
* Provide expert advice on H&S risk, governance & compliance
* Lead incident investigations, audits & continuous improvement
* Support emergency planning, contractor management & critical risk controls
* Deliver training, coaching & drive a positive safety culture
* Contribute to ISO 45001 systems and strategic H&S initiatives
The successful Health & Safety Manager:
* NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in high-risk or complex operational environments
* Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation & ISO 45001
* Skilled in investigations, audits & practical risk management
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Experience in ports, marine, cargo or similar environments
* Knowledge of CDM & contractor management
* Background in continuous improvement / behavioural safety
Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hrs
