Hotel Manager – Days Inn Michaelwood
Location: Welcome Break, Days Inn Michaelwood, DURSLEY, GL11 6DD
Salary: Up to £30,500 pa plus bonus
About the role:
Managing a 39‑room hotel, you will lead the Reception, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to deliver a memorable guest experience while driving profitable sales growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
* Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
* Mentor and inspire staff to achieve high performance.
* Manage budgets, costs, and overall operational efficiency.
* Identify and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
Essential qualifications:
* Proven track record managing a hospitality team, ideally in a front office or housekeeping role.
* Strong customer‑service orientation.
* Business‑focused mindset with a drive to succeed.
* Energetic, people‑focused leadership style.
* Excellent communication, innovation, and problem‑solving skills.
