Full Stack Software Engineer (Product Development - Node/React)

Our client, a growing and forward-thinking technology organisation, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Product Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in rebuilding and enhancing core platforms, while contributing to the development of new software products.
This position offers flexible working arrangements, including fully remote (UK-based) or hybrid working.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:
* Contribute to the rebuild of a core web platform, backend systems and APIs
* Maintain and enhance existing internal and external production applications
* Develop new software products from the ground up
* Write clean, well-structured and well-tested code
* Work collaboratively within a development team using paired and mob programming practices
* Contribute to applications built using a microservices architecture
This role combines greenfield development with ongoing platform evolution, offering strong technical variety and ownership.
You will work with a modern technology stack, including:
* Backend: Node.js and Ruby (non-Rails)
* Testing: Jest, Cypress
Salary £50k to £65kDOE
Flexible remote or hybrid working (UK-based)
One visit per month required to the Brighton office.
