Baker Wellingborough/Oakham Monday – Friday 8am -5pm £15.00 per hour Temporary – Permanent We’re looking for a skilled baker with a real appreciation for laminated doughs and the precision they require. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on production and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality viennoiserie. Duties Preparing a variety of laminated and enriched dough products, including classic pastries and rotating specials. Managing the full production process, from dough preparation through to baking. Working to established recipes and production schedules to maintain consistency. Assessing dough readiness and adjusting processes to achieve optimal results. Assisting with ingredient control, stock rotation and general production support. Upholding high standards of cleanliness, food safety and workplace organisation. Supporting routine checks and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.Requirements: Previous experience in a professional bakery or pastry environment. Practical knowledge of lamination, fermentation and dough handling. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A quality-focused approach and pride in finished products.
