Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant (Salford)
Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity in a supportive primary school?
We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Salford after the Easter break. This is a full-time, long-term role for a full calender year, offering stability and the chance to make a real impact in early education.
The Role
* Supporting children within EYFS (Reception/Nursery)
* Delivering small group interventions, including phonics and early literacy
* Assisting the class teacher with planning, observations and assessments
* Providing 1:1 support where required, including SEN pupils
* Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
* Has recent experience working within an EYFS setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Confident supporting phonics and early development
* Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
* Holds an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
