Profile Has a deep understanding of Employer Led Apprenticeship Provision 5 years experience in the delivery of Apprenticeships, latterly as person with operational management, curriculum and/or quality management/lead responsibility (open to those with responsibility of a Standard or Sector, doesn’t necessarily have had to had companywide responsibility) Track record of leading a team to achieve targets Good insight into the needs of Ofsted and Apprenticeship Funding Rules Primary Objectives That Deere Apprenticeships is classified as “Green” (low risk) under the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework for: Achievement & Retention Rates Past Planned End Date Breaks in Learning An agreed case load efficiency target An agreed target for timely good quality enrolments from pipeline Operational Responsibility 1. Leadership of all the operational requirements of the delivery team Onboarding and enrolment of learners Following the curriculum plan Progression of learners in a timely manner for actual progress v expected progress Fulfilment of OTJ hour requirements Preparation for Gateway Successful EPA Outcomes Progression of learners onto other programmes where appropriate Work as part of a management team, including the EPA Manager and Data Compliance Manager, embrace and challenge the requirements of the Head of Learning. As the leader it is your responsibility under the guidance of the Head of Learning to deliver a great learning experience against the curriculum provided by the Head of Learning and keep within the compliance requirements set by the Data and Compliance Manager Take a leading role for any Ofsted or DfE Audit Visit – though wouldn’t be the main person responsible for either (unless illness dictated otherwise) Be openminded as to the constant need to improve, and accept those challenges positively Understand that Learner Experience is a top priority. Duties Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's objectives. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimise performance. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve operational targets. Identify areas for improvement in processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success and make data-driven decisions. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Experience Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position. Strong understanding of business functions such as Data and Compliance, EPA, Marketing and Curriculum. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics to drive operational improvements. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with project management methodologies is advantageous.
