**As a Senior Care Manager**, you will oversee the daily operations of our care home. As a regulated business, we expect the candidate to be registered with the relevant authorities and familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our home provides high-quality care and support to our residents, while maintaining high standards and meeting targets.
You will be supported by a dedicated team, including a Nursing Deputy Manager, a Hospitality person to assist with hospitality services, and an Administrator. This team will collaborate with you to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for our residents.
### Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and management to the care home, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.
* Clinical Oversight: Oversee and support the clinical and nursing team, ensuring evidence-based best practices are followed.
* Compliance and Governance: Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Care Planning: Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
* Resource Management: Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to meet financial and care delivery targets.
* Staff Development: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
* Communication: Act as the main point of contact for residents, families, and external professionals.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
* Safeguarding: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safeguarding, and dignity in care.
* Incident Handling: Handle complaints, concerns, and incidents in a professional and timely manner.
### Requirements:
* Ambitious and experienced nurse with a passion for leadership and management.
* Proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory role.
* Strong clinical skills and sound knowledge of nursing care procedures and practices.
* Experience in care planning, medication management, and compliance.
* Good understanding of regulatory standards, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
