English Teacher – Wirral
As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable English Teacher to support a secondary school on the Wirral. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching English Language and Literature.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
* Maintain strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
* Establish and enforce effective classroom management to support student learning.
* Support pupils to achieve their best in line with school targets.
Contract/Position Details
* Location – Wirral
* Position – English Teacher
* Type of work – Teaching English to KS3 and KS4
* Start date – As soon as possible
* Contract type – Temporary
* Full time/part time – Full time
* Minimum rate of pay – £140 - £200 per day
* Hours – 8:00am to 4:00pm
Experience, Training and Qualifications
* Teaching qualification with QTS
* Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
Eligibility
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child (DBS) certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
