What youll be doing as Waste Sales Manager: Reporting to the Group Development Director, you will: Leverage your waste and recycling industry knowledge to identify, target, and win new business. Use existing construction sector contacts and develop new relationships to grow market share. Provide technical input on compliance to support proposals, ensuring deals are robust and fit-for-purpose. Generate leads through cold-calling, networking, and social media, while maintaining a strong sales pipeline. Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs and industry standards. Deliver weekly sales reporting and contribute to long-term business strategy. What Were Looking For In A Waste Sales Manager: A proven track record in waste management sales/business development, with construction industry experience essential. Strong knowledge of waste, recycling, and compliance requirements. Established network of relevant sector contacts and the ability to open doors. Skilled negotiator with commercial acumen and the ability to put deals together. Self-starter who can work independently and deliver against targets. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Social media savvy with creative approaches to business development. Skills & Experience Extensive experience in a waste management / construction sales role. Technical understanding of waste streams, recycling, and compliance frameworks.
