Job Description Salary - Starting from £40,000 pa Bonus - 25% target sales bonus Location - Central UK ideal due to travel requirements Ability to train overseas We are looking to recruit an Environmental DNA Business Development Manager who will be responsible for leading sales and marketing activities, identifying and engaging customers, securing commitments from, and generating new profitable revenues within the Environmental DNA (eDNA) sector. This is a new and exciting revenue focused, business development / sales role. The role will have a blend of working from home and also visiting customers and UK SGS Laboratories. Key responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Conducting thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, understand industry trends, and analyse competitor activities. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships. Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing business development strategies that align with the company's revenue growth goals and market objectives. Sales and Revenue Generation: Driving sales efforts, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet or exceed individual and company-wide budgeted revenue targets. Networking: Engaging in strategic networking by attending industry events, conferences, and other relevant gatherings to expand the company's reach and influence.
