Electrical Engineer – Overview
We are working with one of the UK’s largest Energy & Asset Management companies, with over 30 years of experience installing and maintaining District Heating Networks, Energy Centres, and large-scale Plant Rooms. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician interested in training on plant room systems such as Commercial Boilers, Heat Pumps, Biomass, Steam Systems, BMS Controls, and Heat Interface Units.
Daily responsibilities include working in commercial premises such as Hospitals, Universities, Factories, Manufacturing Plants, and District Heating main plant rooms. You will carry out testing, maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical breakdowns on all plant room systems.
In the district heating sector, the central plant room provides heating and power to residential areas. You will work on systems like boiler controls, pumps, pressurisation units, BMS, and controls. The company also manages several Solar Farms in the North East, handling all Operations & Maintenance works.
Training will be provided on Solar PV systems to support your development. The company emphasizes professional growth, offering clear progression routes and additional training opportunities in BMS, Plant Room Systems, Solar PV, and more.
Electrical Engineer – Requirements
* 18th Edition
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering
* Safe Isolation knowledge
* Full UK Driving Licence
* A willingness to learn and develop
Electrical Engineer – Salary & Benefits
* Salary up to £50,000+ (OTE £55-60K)
