Knowledge, skills and training
Essential criteria
1. NVQ level 2/3 in Care or demonstrable experience in care
2. Knowledge of personal care duties, clinical observations, ward procedures
Job specific experience
Essential criteria
3. Previous experience of working within a care environment
Desirable criteria
4. Knowledge of Mental Health Act.
Additional requirements
Essential criteria
5. Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, adequate to enable the post holder to carry out the role effectively
6. A level of fitness and ability to participate and complete PMVA, Breakaway training and Manual Handling (practice and theory).
Business travel
Desirable criteria
7. Subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business.
