We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a knowledgeable Office Cashier to join the Finance team of our prestigious London law firm client, on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a hands‑on, varied role supporting core cashiering and finance operations.

Responsibilities

\n\n
Payment posting - Allocating incoming funds to office account bills Banking coordination - Acting as a point of contact for the firm's external banking partnersInvoice entry - Inputting office and disbursement invoices into the PMSExpense review - Ensuring all expense claims comply with firm policiesWeekly payment cycles - Managing UK and international office, expense and disbursement runsAd hoc payments - Processing one-off payments for office and disbursement needsLand Registry management - Overseeing and recharging the Land Registry suspense accountESB uploads - Uploading ESB files for client rechargesVAT follow-up - Chasing VAT receipts relating to Counsel fee paymentsSkills & Experience

3E knowledge - Experience with 3E is advantageousLaw firm background - Previous Office Cashier experience within a legal environment is essentialSRA rules - Strong understanding of the SRA Accounts RulesTechnical capability - Confident handling core legal finance processesCommunication - Able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
