Principal Systems Engineer
* 12 month min contract
* Luton - 80-100% on-site working
* £75ph - £85ph Umbrella / £55ph - £65ph PAYE (Inside IR35)

We have an opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer to join our team within the Combat Air line of business for a twelve-month Contract as part of the team working on our systems for Typhoon.
This role will focus on supporting the development of systems for Typhoon Defensive Aids Systems.
A role within the team will provide exposure to EW products and subject-matter experts with expertise within domain, product, and technology fields.
What you will do - Principal Systems Engineer
* Engaging with stakeholders, defining requirements for a new system
* Conducting cost and functional performance trade-offs and evaluation of proposed solutions
* Designing and integrating new functionality into an existing system
* Modelling a system to understand observed simulated performance
* Development of capability within limitations and constraints of the target hardware
* Creation of Test Plans and Requirements for Verification and Validation of sub-systems
* Creation of Integration Plans for unit integration into the full system
* Technical Discussions with suppliers and customers
* Document management to support design review activities
What we’re looking for - Principal Systems Engineer
Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, particularly in the following areas:
* Problem definition
* Systems Architecture
* Systems Modelling and Analysis
* Integration, Verification and Validation
* Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
