Lecturer/Senior Lecturer – Clinical Education, Nutrition & Dietetics

Overview
Position responsible for development and implementation of nutrition and dietetics clinical placement programs.
* Employment Type: Full‑time (35 hours/week)
* Duration: Continuing
* Remuneration: $127k–$178k base (plus 17% super and leave loading)
* Work rights: Visa sponsorship not available; candidates must hold full work rights in Australia.
* Location: Kensington, Sydney
Responsibilities
Collaborate with placement teams across all disciplines to enhance overall development, direction and guidance of the School’s clinical education capabilities. No direct reports.
Qualifications (Core – Level B)
* Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) or eligibility and willingness to seek accreditation as an APD.
* A PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics or other related health disciplines is preferred although significant and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of PhD.
* Demonstrated experience with industry and work-integrated learning and clinical education.
* Proven commitment to proactive maintenance of discipline knowledge and development.
* Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses (subjects) and programs (degrees), at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, particularly related to clinical education and WIL.
* Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications (Level C)
* Significant experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery of courses and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, specifically in clinical education/WIL.
* A PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics or other related health disciplines, or a minimum of post‑graduate qualifications relevant to the position (e.g. learning and teaching related).
* Evidence of professional development in teaching and a strong track record of teaching excellence.
* Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement.
* Demonstrated track record in research (may be in scholarship of learning and teaching) with outcomes of high quality and high impact to improve education and or health outcomes.
* Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence and fostering this in others.
