Collections Driver — Royal Mail
Location: Sittingbourne Delivery Office, ME10 4AA
Job type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 17:00 hours per week, 5 days across Mon-Sun, working between 14:30 and 18:00
Responsibilities
As a Collections and Network Driver, you will be part of a team of drivers delivering trust to the doorstep and providing outstanding service. Your duties include checking post-boxes, visiting post offices, meeting business customers at prearranged times, collecting mail, and dropping it off at processing centres. You will also sort mailbags and ensure each item reaches the right place at the right time. You deliver much more than letters and parcels—you deliver for the people.

* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
* Paid overtime with enhanced rate of 1.25x for hours over 40 per week

Other information
Please note: Candidate search classifications may list roles as full-time for 35-40 hours per week, but any role under 40 hours will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
