#What Does a Tax & Legal Intern Do?
Work across our Belfast Tax offerings.
Collaborate with the #1 global leader in professional services and one of Ireland’s largest tax advisory providers.
Develop professionally through Deloitte’s Student Academy and access comprehensive support for ACA and CIOT qualifications.
Contribute to an award-winning team recognized by the International Tax Review for excellence in Tax and Transfer Pricing.
Support clients in tax disputes and accompany Tax Partners to proceedings locally and internationally.
Participate in networking and social events, including Tax Unplugged activities and team-building initiatives.
Collaborate with diverse clients across industries including software, biotech, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
Analyse and document R&D activities for SMEs and multinationals, supporting alignment with R&D Tax Credit and grant criteria.
Conduct technical interviews with innovation leaders and draft technical reports for R&D claims.
Prepare financial calculations for R&D Tax Credits and assist with Revenue audits or inquiries.
Academic Achievement: Legal right to work in the Northern Ireland
Demonstrated numerical fluency, leadership potential, creative problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
Location: Hybrid roles based in Belfast.
