We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our childcare facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children while assisting in the development of educational programmes.
Duties
* Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management.
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for both children and staff.
* Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood learning.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery.
* Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and wellbeing.
* Supervise staff, providing guidance and support in their roles.
* Manage administrative tasks as required, including record keeping and reporting.
* Collaborate with the team to create a stimulating environment that encourages children's development.
Experience
* Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting is essential.
* Background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is highly desirable.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is required.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff, parents, and children.
