The role:
YMCA Ripon are seeking a proactive administrator to help us fully realise the potential of YMCA Ripon. As an organisation working with young people and young adults we wish to continue developing our services for our tenants and other young people in the local community. We need further administration support to ensure we can develop and grow.
You will have relevant and recent experience of working, ideally within a similar role or in a team. This could be a new role or career change for you, but we need you to evidence how you can work with others manage a workload and engage with all stakeholders in a positive way. Work with young people or in a youth setting would be a bonus.
You will have a strong organisation ethos with the ability to read and respond top emails, research information, arrange busy calendars, input data and respond to various needs within a busy office.
* Coordinating the invites to a range of partnership meetings using Microsoft Outlook and Teams
* Providing support to Ripon Youth Council by taking minutes and checking their email and responding to enquiries
* Maintaining staff and volunteer records such as DBS checks, training records and highlighting when refreshes need to take place
* Co-ordinating the YMCA Ripon newsletter
* Co-ordinating information in the community including notice boards and food or gift collections
* Working with the Youth Work team to collect information from young people
* Engaging and supporting all YMCA Ripon office activities as required
We can offer this role as a 21 hour post up to full time at 37 hours. Detail about working hours are outlined in the letter.
