GP Educators Generalist Clinical Mentor (GCM) for ScotGEM (Year 3) Locum (Add Current Associate Advisor Pay Scale) Pro Rata Do you have what it takes to inspire the next generation of doctors? Dumfries and Galloway is proud to be hosting graduate entry medicine students (ScotGEM) in collaboration with the Universities of St Andrews and Dundee. Due to maternity leave, an enthusiastic GP is being sought by NHS Dumfries and Galloway to become a GCM for the 3rd Year of the course. This is a 1 session per week post where you will support and facilitate the learning of a group of approximately 6 students who are spending their 3rd year based in practices across Dumfries and Galloway. Initially this post would be for a 5 month period, from February 2026 to the end of June 2026. It would be an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their educational practice. You will be an experienced GP keen to develop further as an educator and mentor. You will join a vibrant and supportive ScotGEM team based in Dumfries and Galloway and across Scotland.
