Responsibilities for Secretary
* Prepare legal documents and correspondence
* Provide full secretarial and administrative assistance to fee earners
* Manage diaries and schedule appointments
* Prepare financial records and assist with the distribution of funds
* Liaise professionally with clients and handle telephone enquiries
* Maintain document and file management systems
* Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the department
Qualifications for Secretary
* Minimum 2+ years secretarial experience across any professional service sector
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with legal case management systems would be beneficial(e.g., Partners for Windows) desirable
* Dictation experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
* Client-focused, professional and approachable
* Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
