Reports to Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager
The purpose of this position is to provide regulatory support for both Aztec internal and Aztec administered entities with their regulatory reporting obligations. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Manager, Regulatory Reporting, and focuses on ensuring robust documentation and accurate reporting across all jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities:
1. Act as the first point of contact for regulatory reporting queries raised by the client facing teams.
2. Support the Senior Manager in developing and documenting processes, procedures and checklists.
3. Assist in identifying and mitigating risks related to regulatory reporting.
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to gather data and insights.
5. Assist in the preparation, review and submission of regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, deadlines and internal procedures.
6. Contribute to cross-functional projects.
7. Maintenance of internal databases.
Skills, knowledge, expertise:
8. Demonstrate 3 to 4 years of experience in the investment fund industry or regulatory reporting
9. Sound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported by the Aztec Academy)
10. Computer literacy, word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential
11. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
