Role: Senior Risk Analyst Position: Contract Location: Hinkley Point C Somerset Duration: Initial contract to 31/12/2025 Rolling 12 months thereafter The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of Hinkley Point C. Acting as a technical expert within our Risk team, you will: Lead the implementation of risk management processes across key programmes/areas of the project. Provide timely, accurate, and insightful reporting of risk and opportunity data to support evidence-based decision making. Guide and mentor Risk Analysts and Trainees, helping to develop capability across the team. Engage with senior stakeholders - including Programme Directors and the wider project management community - to embed risk management best practice. Support and challenge contractors, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively. Utilise tools such as ARM, Safran (QSRA), and Power BI to maintain risk data and deliver high-quality analysis.This is an opportunity to influence one of the UK's most critical projects, ensuring that safety, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved. About You We're looking for someone with: Proven expertise in risk management and project controls, ideally within large-scale infrastructure or regulated industries. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for senior stakeholders. Experience with risk management software (ARM, Safran, Power BI, etc.). Excellent communication skills - able to facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions, and present risk insights confidently. A collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and support junior colleagues.Qualifications (desirable): Degree-level qualification in project management, engineering, or a related discipline. Professional risk/project controls qualifications such as MoR Practitioner or APM Risk Level 2.
