We are working in partnership with a growing, well-established organisation based in Manchester City Centre to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. This is a key role within the finance team, providing accurate and insightful management reporting to support decision-making at all levels. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing commercial insight across the business.
Management Accountant Duties
* Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
* Performing variance analysis and reporting key financial metrics to senior management
* Monitoring and reporting on business performance, highlighting trends and risks
* Assisting with financial planning, cost analysis, and ad-hoc projects
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Working collaboratively across departments to provide financial guidance and insight
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Essential Experience Required
To be successful in your application you MUST have the following:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or part-qualified
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar management reporting role
* Strong technical knowledge of management accounting principles
* Experience producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
* Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
