Zyber (Paint-Decorating, Hardware & Plumbing Supplies) is a leading supplier of premium branded products and services to a wide range of customers. Our stores offer a diverse range of equipment and services which includes Painting & Decorating; Ironmongery; Locks & Latches; Plumbing; Electrical; Hand & Power tools; Screws & Fixings, etc. Our company is now 4 years old and has a team of 20 amazing members which we are looking to expand.
ROLE
Following our expansion Zyber are seeking Experienced Sales Merchant Assistant and amazon store assistant to join our team;
SUMMARY
* The ideal candidate with previous Decorating Store Experience or online shop assistant would be preferred.
* Following introduction Full Training will be given
* Store based, your demeanour must be a Punctual, Reliable, Flexible & Pivotal nature
* An expert at building rapport & creating trusted relationships with Customers, above all a team-player
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
* The candidate will have a diverse job, where two days is needed on shop floor and the other three days is needed to support our online presence.
* Job descriptions follows as below:
Shop Floor (Monday & Tuesday):
* Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
* Advise customers on paint products, colours, and finishes.
* Mix paint to match customer requirements, following safe handling procedures.
* Maintain stock levels, ensure shelves are tidy and organised.
* Operate the till and handle payments accurately.
* Keep the shop floor clean, safe, and presentable.
Amazon & Online Presence (Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday):
* Manage Amazon listings: upload new products, update prices, descriptions, and images.
* Monitor stock levels across platforms to avoid overselling.
* Process orders quickly and accurately, preparing small items for dispatch.
* Respond to customer questions/messages promptly and professionally.
* Monitor reviews and feedback, escalating issues when needed.
* Support wider online presence, such as Shopify store updates, basic social media posts, and promotions.
Customer Communication:
* Respond to SMS, emails, and online enquiries with a professional tone.
* Provide after-sales support and resolve issues where possible.
* Keep records of customer interactions for follow-up.
Teamwork & Flexibility:
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Provide cover for team members during holidays or absence (with reciprocal cover for your own).
* Assist with general admin tasks and ad-hoc duties to support the growth of the business.

Pay: £25,400.00-£28,000.00 per year
