Project
Our client is the utilities provider in the South‑East geographic area. Their purpose is to deliver services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long‑term value for all.
You’ll Be Responsible For
* Act as the client’s on‑site representative, ensuring civils, M&E, and maintenance works delivered by contractors are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with agreed specifications, quality standards, and program requirements.
* Health and Safety: monitor contractor compliance, undertake inspections, challenge unsafe behaviours, and support investigations.
* Quality Assurance: inspect works, witness tests, identify defects, and maintain records.
* Site supervision and contractor oversight: oversee activities, monitor workmanship, ensure planning, and escalate issues.
* Programme and Productivity: track progress, identify delays, support recovery, and provide updates.
* Reporting and Governance: produce reports, maintain records, and support audit requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience working with or within capital delivery organisations, with a practical understanding of how projects move from concept through design, construction, and commissioning.
* Site supervision or construction management experience for civils/infrastructure works and contractor oversight.
* Knowledge of construction methods, H&S legislation, QA processes, and drawing interpretation.
* Equivalent qualifications to SMSTS, CSCS, and a UK driving licence.
* NEBOSH, Temporary Works, NRSWA, or other relevant professional membership.
