Responsibilities Support the full PCB design lifecycle—from approved schematic to the generation of production-ready data packs across conceptual, prototypical and production designs Collaborate closely with engineers across disciplines to produce layouts and maintain design data that meet demanding electrical, mechanical, and manufacturability standards Support the creation of PCB layouts using Altium Designer, based on signed-off schematics Liaise with electronics engineers to ensure layout intent matches functional requirements Carry out placement, routing, and design rule checks under engineering guidance Prepare and maintain detailed manufacturing data packs. Manage PCB library components and ensure alignment with project standards Support those communicating with manufacturers and assemblers to clarify production requirements Assist in maintaining design documentation and supporting continuous process improvement Assist in the Engineering change management and configuration control of PCB design data Support Continuous Improvement of PCB design processes following Kaizen Principles. Essential Familiarity with PCB layout tools, ideally Altium Designer. Ideally hands-on experience in Altium-based design workflows. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Able to pass Developed Vetting (DV) clearance i.e. British Passport holders.
