We’re on the lookout for a caring, reliable Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Gateshead. Whether it’s helping a whole class stay on track or offering gentle 1:1 support, your calm presence and positive energy will help pupils feel seen, supported and ready to learn.

Your role will include:
* Supporting children across the classroom, KS1 or KS2
* Assisting the class teacher with learning tasks and behaviour routines
* Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support when needed
* Helping make each day run smoother, calmer, and more enjoyable

What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)
* A calm, friendly approach and good communication skills
* Flexibility and a genuine interest in supporting learning
* Bonus if you’ve supported SEN pupils before—but not essential!
