Salary: £3,500 Who We Are Specialists in providing engineered above ground drainage and water supply systems, Polypipe Building Services leverages offsite fabrication to design and deliver solutions to mechanical and public health engineers, M&E contractors as well as local authorities. Polypipe Building Services houses well-known industry brand Terrain and has been delivering systems to commercial, high rise residential, healthcare, education and leisure projects for over 50 years. What You’ll Be Doing As an intern on our team, you'll gain hands-on experience in process improvement and manufacturing operations. Your work will include: Collaborating with our team to analyze and enhance efficiency on the manufacturing floor, with a focus on our plastic piping production line. Conducting in-depth workflow mapping of a specific production line to identify at least three key areas for improvement—such as reducing cycle time or minimizing equipment downtime. Compiling your insights into a clear, actionable report and delivering a presentation to the team to drive discussion and explore potential process changes. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking an intern who brings a mix of curiosity, practical thinking, and a passion for improvement.
