HGV MET Technician (Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic, Electrical & Trim) – Accident Repair

We are seeking an experienced HGV MET Technician / Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our expert team, specialising in the repair and restoration of commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles, and HGVs.
Key Responsibilities
14. Carry out HGV dismantling and reassembly (strip and fit) in line with manufacturer repair methods
15. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and trim faults on heavy goods vehicles
16. Work across HGVs, LGVs, fleet vehicles, and commercial vans
17. Use advanced diagnostic equipment for HGV fault finding
18. Ensure all repairs meet DVSA, manufacturer, and safety standards
19. Collaborate with panel and paint teams to support efficient commercial vehicle repair workflows
20. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment
Requirements
21. Proven experience as an HGV MET Technician, HGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
22. Strong knowledge of heavy goods vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
23. Experience working on fleet vehicles, trucks, and commercial bodyshop repairs
24. ATA accreditation (MET or HGV) desirable
25. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
26. High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
