Nijhuis Saur Industries UK & Ireland are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. You will play a crucial role in managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the smooth operation of accounts payable processes for the Finance team. The position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software.
Responsibilities
* Purchase order processing in the accounting system
* Accurately coding, registering and processing invoices/credit notes
* Liaising with suppliers regarding invoice queries and discrepancies
* Reconciling supplier statements ensuring all transactions are accounted for
* Purchase Ledger Reconciliation
* Assisting with weekly/monthly payment runs
* Support the Finance team with general administration tasks
Required Skills/Qualifications
* 2+ years experience in a similar role
* Familiarity of accounting software
* High degree of accuracy
* Work well under pressure
* Excellent time management
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Working For Us Means
* The salary is £28,000 per year (Pro rata), depending on your professional experience.
* Holidays - 25 days + 8 statutory days (Pro rata)
* Probationary Period – 6 months.
* Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice.
* Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation.
* Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment.
* Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
