Job Description:
This role offers a six-figure salary and is based in UK, Dubai, or Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply working knowledge of captive insurance companies.
* Develop strategies to mitigate or transfer risk.
* Analyze, critique, and draft risk allocation, indemnity, insurance, and related contract provisions.
* Negotiate, implement, and administer insurance and reinsurance placement structures, including the use of captive or alternative finance mechanisms.
* Develop and advise on risk and insurance policies and procedures.
* Manage and coordinate activities with brokers, insurers, consultants, and other service providers, including risk engineering and asset appraisals; negotiate claims and pursue recovery from third parties.
* Mentor and develop staff.
* Represent the division at internal and external meetings and assignments.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance or risk management from a recognized program. Professional certifications such as ACII, CMIRM, SIRM, or CPCU are preferred.
* 15 years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical industry, or a major corporate organization.
* Relevant corporate risk and insurance expertise, preferably with experience in energy and petrochemical sectors, obtained from industry, international broking, risk management, or insurance companies.
