Job Title: Van Driver
Location: Tamworth
Hours of Work: Monday–Thursday 06:00 – 16:30 (every 4th Friday when required)
Job Purpose: To move product, raw material and moulds between all manufacturing sites. All sites are within a 2.5 mile radius.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive company vehicle in a safe and courteous fashion in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Transport and highway code
2. Daily vehicle checks
3. Report any mechanical defects
4. Take all responsible action to ensure the safety of the vehicle, equipment and load
5. To ensure the safety and efficient movement of consumables and materials between sites
6. Work closely with all sites and forklift drivers.
Requirements:
7. Ability to prioritise workload
8. Ability to work as a team
9. Ability to work in a busy working environment
10. Ability to work with their own initiative
11. Self motivated
12. Organised
13. FLT Counterbalance licence
14. Full, clean drivers licence
15. There may be occasions, very rarely, when you will be required to deliver product to site.
