Maths Cover Supervisor – Specialist SEN Provision

Protocol Education is recruiting a Maths Cover Supervisor for a specialist SEN provision in Gateshead.
This role would suit a maths tutor or graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a school environment while working with small classes of just 3–4 pupils.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering structured maths lessons and tutoring sessions
* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
* Supervising classes when the teacher is absent
* Helping students develop core numeracy skills
* Working closely with support staff to ensure pupils succeed
What we’re looking for:
* Good basic maths knowledge
* Experience tutoring or supporting maths learning
* Confidence leading small groups
* A patient and supportive approach
