We are looking for a confident individual with excellent customer service and organisational skills to promote and administer our school, group and venue hire bookings at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse. Located in the heart of Norfolk, Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse is the place to discover the history of rural life in East Anglia. Historic buildings including a recreated 1930s village complete with shops, cottage, pub and a school room, a heritage farm with rare breed animals and a Victorian Workhouse which is now a museum, are set across 50 acres of woodland, orchards, gardens and a community tree nursery. Interactive displays and objects trace farming from its Neolithic roots to the end of World War II, alongside hands-on activities, seasonal events and exhibitions, an adventure playground, trails and a café. The site hosts over 10,000 school visits per year, supports groups to make the most of their visit and welcomes external organisations and partners for meetings and events. The role of Bookings Administrator is pivotal to the smooth running of this offer, working as a key part of the wider museum team. This is a part-time position working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the year.
