Pension Manager
Contract • Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm • 35 hours per week • Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) • Bristol, BS1
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be able to administer a case load of client SIPPs over multiple books of business. An essential part of this role is being able to go above and beyond in providing an exceptional service to our clients by ensuring the efficient processing of administrative requests. These range across all areas of administration, from benefit calculations, drawdowns, disinvestments, crystallisation splits, death benefits, valuation reports & bank reconciliations.
Your main duties as a Pension Manager will additionally concern the reconciliation of our clients' SIPPs, playing a key role in the transferring of accounts over to new providers. To help ensure the appropriate measures are taken to enact these transfers, you will be liaising with multi-party stakeholders across different areas of the business, as well as maintaining transparent and regular communication to our clients, IFAs and receiving schemes.
With the above in mind, it is therefore crucial that you are someone who can handle complex and varied workloads. You are also someone who is willing to support and train more junior colleagues with less experience. In addition, you are someone who is dependable and able to oversee the work of others by identifying and addressing areas where improvement is required.
This is an opportunity that not only pays within the top 10% of pension providers but allows you to play a leading part in assisting a business during a highly unique transitional period.
