With an increase in Theatre and Cath lab activity and we have opportunities for Anaesthetic Practitioners with General and Cardiac experience to join us at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
You will be an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with demonstrable commitment to your own professional development and experience in a busy theatre environment. Alongside our Cardiovascular theatres, Our Thoracic and General theatres support Breast surgery, Endocrine, ENT and Occular surgery. Experience within these specialities is desirable alongside enthusiasm and a desire to provide high quality and compassionate care. We offer a wide range of development opportunities including, Band 5 development programme, the opportunity for further academic studies and attendance at external conferences and courses.
Main duties of the job
Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, communicating clearly with anaesthetic and other healthcare professionals whilst maintaining a safe environment. Ability to work effectively within the existing theatre teams whilst having the ability to work under their own initiative Commitment to work flexible as per operational needs and will be expected work at Nights, Weekends and On-Call. **There are multiple roles and reserve lists may be maintained."
