We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Media Strategist to join our clients' international team based in London on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building relationships, navigating cross-functional teams, and presenting to stakeholders. The team is responsible for media strategy, planning, and execution stewardship.
This role will be responsible for developing integrated media channel plans and partnering with Insights & Analytics, Decision Science, Creative, Policy & Comms, and Partnerships teams to devise and execute campaigns that promote our clients' new wearables and metaverse products through effective and innovative media strategies.
The ideal candidate will build strong partnerships with colleagues, translate goals into successful, data-driven programs, and navigate multiple channels and media partners. We seek someone who recognizes patterns others might miss, pushes for innovation, and orchestrates impactful media campaigns.
Responsibilities
1. Develop measurable media plans grounded in objectives and audience insights that deliver innovation and business outcomes.
2. Utilize quantitative and qualitative insights to influence media approach, tactical planning, execution, and optimization.
3. Serve as a subject matter expert, incorporating industry innovation, planning, and measurement best practices across digital and traditional channels.
4. Build strong relationships and influence cross-functional partners in marketing, decision science, insights, and creative teams to develop integrated campaigns.
5. Partner with external media agencies and the Global Media team to ensure cohesive planning and execution worldwide.
6. Manage multiple media streams and deliverables to ensure flawless campaign execution, coordinating closely with internal and external teams.
7. Analyze campaign performance against KPIs, providing insights, takeaways, and recommendations for ongoing optimization and reporting.
Key Skills
* 8+ years' experience in media planning within an agency or client organization.
* Extensive experience in the UK market (or wider EMEA).
* Proven ability to build relationships, navigate teams, and present to stakeholders and leadership.
* Experience in measurement, analytics, audience insights, and storytelling.
* Experience managing full funnel media strategies.
* Strong knowledge of media trends, measurement, and analytics.
* Experience planning and executing multi-channel campaigns in data-driven environments.
* Ability to identify opportunities for optimization and audience segmentation based on data and research.
Preferred Skills
* Experience managing a media agency.
* Experience collaborating with creative teams to align creative ideas with media strategies.
