Hours of Work: 30 hours Monday to Friday (to be discussed)
Job Purpose: Business support to operations to control and improve operational performance and compliance.

About the role
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist with all purchasing activities in liaison with Toome management, including follow-up on delivery dockets and invoices for approval and payment in accordance with company policy.
* Order consumables and monitor purchases in conjunction with site management & Group Facilities Manager.
* Update stock sheets, monitor stock levels and production, supporting the Supply Chain & Planning Manager, including reviewing sales agreements.
* Ensure administrative compliance with Company Health and Safety procedures, including using the Engage system to deliver ongoing improvements and contractor control. Keep Crimson and site training registers up to date.
* Maintain ISO control documentation, ensuring it is in place, referenced, updated, and available for inspections and audits.
* Work with the HR Business Partner to ensure full and timely compliance with HR procedures such as recruitment, induction, absence management, holiday planning, discipline, grievance, and performance management/Personnel & Training Records.
* Support industrial relations development and improvement in collaboration with site management.
* Calculate and submit weekly wages and adjustments to payroll in accordance with payroll requirements.
* Manage and collate data for business performance reporting to support site governance and monthly accounts for the finance department.
* Perform general administrative duties such as filing, creating Word and Excel reports, and preparing/circulating minutes.
* Act as an ambassador for our culture and values, demonstrating and promoting them in all work aspects.
* Lead the transition of production records to electronic formats while managing the overlap with paper copies, e.g., daily production records.
* Assist with delivering on-site training requirements in conjunction with management.

Required Criteria
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including maths and English (or equivalent).
* Previous administration experience in an office environment.
* Experience using IT systems and MS Office.
* Confident telephone manner and good customer service experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and numeric skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Friendly and approachable attitude.

* Reliable and punctual.
* Ability to travel to and from work areas as required.
