CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE COMPANY FOR A REPAIR STRESS ENGINEER
~£Initial contract until December 2025
~ Onsite in Filton - opportunity for 2 days a week from home
~WHAT WILL THE REPAIR STRESS ENGINEER BE DOING?
The role will provide the opportunity to join a team responsible for the static strength analysis of metallic and composite structures. This team work closely with the Design and F&DT engineers to assess and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures. Completing justification reports and other engineering documentation
Using ISAMI and Mathcad to perform structural static strength analysis of repairs
WE NEED THE REPAIR STRESS ENGINEER TO HAVE….
Previous repairs experience on Airbus aircraft programmes
Have an Aircraft Structural Engineering background
Experience using a range of hand and computer methods to complete static analysis
Composite material experience would also be beneficial
