So, what will I be doing?
Join a team that helps create the foundation of everything we do. At Yeo Valley, we're proud of our world-class products and the people who make them. Right now, we're looking for a Night Manufacturing Team Manager to join our Manufacturing Team at our Blagdon facility. As a Night Manufacturing Team Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring our products are produced to the highest standards in the safest environment by leading your team. This role involves working shifts, working 4 nights on 4 nights off.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the team to ensure effective delivery of our products
* Leading Health & Safety within the area of responsibility, engaging the team to ensure compliance and improve the safety culture
* Developing the team to achieve targets. Engaging them and promoting autonomy to enable them to achieve their KPI\'s; safety, quality, deliver, cost
* Working collaboratively with other functions to ensure that work plans are agreed, prioritised and delivered
* Leading and developing the team to improve the quality, efficiency and cost of production through engagement and application of the leadership principles
* Ensure your team is compliant with quality standards
* Deliver communication and reporting to the highest standard
* Leading and developing the team to focus on asset care and quality assurance
* Leading continuous improvement activities providing measured improvements through application of CI principles
Essential
* Relevant people management experience
* Ability to influence people at all levels
* Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement application - 5s, SIC, RCA\'s, visual management
* Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills
* Proficiency in IT software such as Microsoft
* Excellent communication skills
Desirable
* Health & Safety qualification, IOSH or other recognised qualification
* Experience of working with external auditors
* Dairy science qualification
* Experience of coaching and development
* Asset care/ autonomous maintenance experience
* Change management experience
* Quality Control or Quality Assurance qualifications/experience
