About the role
We are seeking several Visitor Experience Assistants on a part-time basis (21 or 28 hours per week) at NRM, fixed term for 2.5 years. If you enjoy working in a unique environment, providing excellent customer service, and engaging with people, we want to hear from you!
As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you'll be one of the first faces visitors see, whether at the museum entrance, greeting visitors, or supporting our commercial experiences, including the Flying Scotsman Virtual Reality Experience and Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery. You will also engage with visitors in galleries and on the museum floor, and have opportunities to work in gift shops.
About you
To succeed as a part-time Visitor Experience Assistant, you should work well in a diverse team, be open and engaging with visitors, and deliver excellent customer service. Strong communication skills, active listening, and clear conveyance of information are essential. As this is a front-of-house role, following operating and safety procedures is vital.
