Site Agent / Senior Engineer Civil Engineering (Roads & Infrastructure)Location: LouthWe are seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead delivery on a major road construction project in Louth, with a strong focus on earthworks and road constructionKey Responsibilities:Manage and lead a team of engineers, direct labour and sub-contractors for all Earthworks and Site Works elements of a new road construction projectDrive the pace of the project and plan the work in the fieldTemporary Works Design & CoordinationTakes ownership for ensuring that HSQE protocols are adhered to on sites at all timesMaintains quality control procedures at all timesYou will liaise with the Project Manager on day-to-day basis.Provide input and direction on the project with a focus on Constructability, Costs and EfficiencyMaintain and complete comprehensive site records, in line with company proceduresFlags any issues with the Contract Management Team, which have the potential to have an impact on the effective delivery of the project - I.e., materials, works schedules, resources, H&S matters or issues relating to cost or delivery scheduleContributes to and completes project programmes, at various levels i.e. overall programme, 6-week lookaheads and 3-week lookaheads.Coordinates and priorities the sequence of activities on siteFollows the Project Plan as a means of ensuring that work is carried out on time and on budgetAbout You:You will have a relevant degree, BSc, BEng or MEng degree in Civil Engineering7+ years hands on operational experience managing a range of Civil Engineering projects.Proven experience managing civil engineering projects, ideally within roads or infrastructureStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent understanding of earthworks and site operationsConfident in programme planning and short-term schedulingCommitted to high standards of health & safety and qualityThis is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile infrastructure project and play a pivotal role in its successful delivery.For more information or to apply, please contact: | Skills:civil engineering site agent senior site engineerWHJS1_NI
